Project Description
TOOLI is the brand new app designed to showcase tradespeople to suppliers and potenital customers.

We were approached to produce a series of promotional commercials to assist in the launch of a brand new app, TOOLI.
The app was separated into two categories, tradespeople and suppliers. Our brief was to create a brand commercial for both categories that gave a clear explanation of the app and how it would benefit them.
Our aim was engage the audience through humour, explaining the pros of the app whilst keeping a light-hearted tone throughout.

The first video was aimed at the tradespeople to which we followed a charismatic yet haphazard host as he leads us through the benefits of the app. This involved a lot of preparation and a gimbal system in allowing us to move the camera smoothly and accurately throughout the piece while maintaining that entertainment factor and audio quality.
Next, we created a video for the suppliers of the app, which is designed to increase sign-ups. This reached out and played with the frustrations supplier’s may face in their day-to-day operations. This was achieved by having one of our longest ever shots of an actor repeatedly getting rejected on the phone. We also employed split screen technology to juxtapose life with and without the app.

- The tradesman video received over 37,000 organic views on social media
- TOOLI received over 1000 sign-ups within the first month of marketing.
- Over 850 organic views on YouTube.
The video has also been used since as part of a email marketing campaign and playing at a Tool Tradeshow exhibition, as well as various cut-downs.
