Project Description
Marketing Lancashire is an online resource and promotional platform for Lancashire.
We partnered up with the incredible 3 Man Factory agency to produce a video, unveiling Marketing Lancashire’s first ambassador, Freddie Flintoff.
Due to a tight turnaround and Mr Flintoff’s schedule, we had to work quickly and efficiently throughout the process. The idea was to have Freddie stood in a black inifinate space. He’ll then read a speech showcasing just how amazing Lancashire is as a county accompanied by dramatic music and clean motion graphics to support his statements.
This battle-cry style of filmmaking creates energy and triggers emotions of pride, excitement and passion. Emotions such as those can lead to incredible ROI’s for the brand increasing interaction, brand loyalty and sales.
We brought in a selected crew to freelancers to ensure that every role was executed perfectly on the day. Due to Mr Flintoff’s schedule, everyone had to be efficient and succinct in the way they worked.
We set up base at the Big Shed in Manchester and shot the battle-cry on a black backdrop so all the focus would be on Freddie and the speech. It would also provide a backdrop for the motion graphics that emphasises Freddie’s speech. We used two 4K cameras to provide us with multiple framing options in the edit.
We then brought in a powerful, orchestral track to accompany the battle cry and add to that excitement and energy. Once the sequence was completed, a track edited to complement the beats of the speech and the motion graphics were inserted, the video was ready to showcase at a Marketing Lancashire event.
Since being showcased at the Marketing Lancashire event, the “We Are Lancashire” video has created a huge impact and positive impressions on the people and businesses of Lancashire. Additionally the video was uploaded onto Marketing Lancashire’s and Visit Lancashire’s social media pages. They have since achieved the following…
- Over 180,000 views.
- Over 3,200 Facebook shares
- Over 1,600 Likes on Facebook.
