3 Man Factory are a multi-award winning indpendent marketing agency based in the North West
We were brought in by marketing agency 3ManFactory to shoot and edit the University of Central Lancashire’s 2017 Graduation ceremony. UCLan wanted two videos:
- Video One: A promotional brand overview of the graduation ceremony and celebrations
- Video Two: Interviews with various students summarising their experiences at UCLan
3ManFactory provided us with the aims of the video and what they would like to include from shots to interviews. We were given the freedom by the agency to shoot in a style we felt reflected the event and UCLan’s brand.
The two-day shoot involved shooting numerous interviews with students as well as covering various aspects of the graduation ceremony. We were givin behind-the-scenes access to the graduation ceremony to ensure we could cover the event.
Our approach was to document a broad overview of the event thus only giving the audience a glimpse into each aspect of graduation. This would also be reflected through the pace of the edit.
This gave us a perfect amount of coverage to create an exciting 1:30 minute promotional film.
- The videos were used for paid advertising on Facebook reaching thousands of future university students and parents.
- Over 6000 organic views on Facebook.
- Videos also used for in-house screens and within the Student Union
- Videos played a key role in social media coverage for the event.
- Over 1700 organic views on YouTube.
